Newgrounds has ALOT of ties to other things such as animations, art, games, and music (especially music). Like, I never knew about the Henry Stickmin since recently and many music producers use this site but don't "use it use it".

TheFatRat, Pandaeyes, Geoxor, Teminite, Sterrezo, Avenza, and many others kinda just smack their stuff here and be on their way which I don't' really mind at all. It's either used as a way to promote their works and support the Geometry Dash community, and I completely understand that. Then there's other artists that either made an account, posted music, and never came back such as Bossfight, Silva Hound, Stratles, meganeko, and Shurk. I'm pretty sure they had their reasons or simply forgot that this website existed.

I remember back when YouTubers were playing Happy Wheels and Geometry Dash 24/7 was also Newgrounds's glory days, and now it has just become somewhat invisible to the internet as the years gone by.

People go by the stereotypical thing of "Newgrounds has a certain art style" or "Newgrounds is a bunch of hentai and furry porn" (actually...that's mostly the art portal...) or "Newgrounds people make mostly THIS kind of music" and blah blah blah when that's not necessarily the case. I find Newgrounds a place where EVERYTHING if its a dating simulator, a comic, or a simple heavy metal song, feels like they have a place here if it's garbage or a masterpiece. In a way, Newgrounds is one of the best content-sharing websites out there and doesn't get enough credit for it. Newgrounds is just a thing that people know "exists", but never realizing that their favorite fandom also thrives here (lots of them being obvious ones like Sonic, Mario, My Little Pony, anime of some sort, Undertale, League of Legends, etc).

No matter what it is, as long as it's not hurting anyone, it's perfectly fine to post it here. Newgrounds encourages creative freedom more than any other website I know of, even YouTube. It may say on my profile that I joined in the 2019s, but I've been around longer than that. The community is surprisingly clean and supportive and everyone is pretty chill to everyone else even if they choose to remain completely silent.

I'm glad I'm a part Newgrounds and I hope this major piece of the internet never dies.
